About Me

My name is Priscilla Lane, and since 2000, I’ve been known on the web as “00goddess.” I am a writer, artist, and crafter. I live in Houston, Texas, with my partner and our many pets. I’m a pretty complex person, but you can learn more about me by checking out my “Interests page” and the articles on this site.

00goddess.net is my personal web page. Some might ask me “Why a personal website?” To which I would reply “Why not?” I’m an interesting person, with a wide variety of interests, and who has led a very interesting life. This is a way to share some of that with the world.

My life at this time is dedicated to Making- making externally, like when I make art, but also making inernally. That’s right, I’m making myself. It’s a grand adventure.

I started journaling on the web in 2000. My first online journal was a deliberate, conscious work in a genre which I described as “life as performance art.” I was interested in how conceptions of intimacy would be affected by what was then a relatively new medium. That journal, “Naked Soul”, was a widely read, raw and intimate look at my life and emotions. In late 2001, I retired Naked Soul and took some time away from online journaling to figure out where my next journal would go.

Eventually I returned to public journaling, with a more casual and chatty style. My journal became a way to keep in touch with friends and casually share information.

I made my first personal website in 1997. It was pretty lame.  :)   I registered this domain, 00goddess.net, in 2000, with the intention of setting up a site here, but rarely used it for anything other than image hosting. In 2007, I finally got some momentum to move from LiveJournal to this domain, permanently.

So what’s happening now? 00goddess.net will become a repository for the things I have to say. It will be more a collection of articles and ideas, than an online journal, although a journal may also be involved.

The “Naked Soul” archives will eventually be moved here, available only to password-holding members.

Oh, you wanted a more in-depth biography? Well, that will come soon.
